Good-night-sleep-sacrifice pays off...

... and it pays off big time !!!

India evens the Pepsi Cup against South Africa with a comfortable 6 wicket win in the second match at Bangalore. South Africa's 20-match winning streak comes to an end. I have witnessed a lot of matches where India batted tremendrously but very rarely did I watch a match where India's bowling was excellent. Today, It was a pleasure to witness India's fielding and bowling.

I had to get up at 1:00am - too bad I am in California when it comes to watching cricket - and was a little disappointed to see India bowl, given the fact that I got up at that hour. I was just about to get back to sleep when I saw the first wicket fall. I wanted to give it a couple of overs and there I go - I couldn't leave the TV. Pathan and Sehwag were simply fabulous..

I feel India has just broken the ice.. Three more to go.. Can't wait for monday night.. Lets hope for the best.. Well, its more than hope, as far as I am concerned..
